Since last Thursday the 2nd of March, my text messaging has NOT been working and it's killing me because I use it for work. The assured me that it will be working by 5:00 pm today, so I'm sure it won't work.. Anyone else having this problem?

I have a Nextel, and the text messaging is not included (which sucks). My contract runs out this fall (I think), and even though I like the direct connect feature, I'm probably going to give it up for a better cell phone company.
Wasn't Slabs having the same problem? I have Verizon, and no probs for me. I get a discount since they did alot of wiring on campus. It's not much but it's 15%. I'll take whatever discount I can get.
It keeps going on and off, kind of... days seem fine, then not-so-good at night... I just tried sending a few about 10 minutes ago, and could not. All day it was fine.... odd.
