Today's Topic is:

Olympics. Now that they are over how much did you watch? Did you enjoy them? I watched about 5 minutes of a woman's hockey game, Canada vs Italy and Italy got destroyed... I was so disinterested in this yeams winter games that I almost feel bad...

The Olympics were terrible. We only watched a little bit one or two nights and thats only because our son wanted to. It might be more interesting to watch paint dry.

I watched the bronze-medal game in hockey, the last 10 minutes of the gold medal game, and maybe some downhill skiing and snowboarding.

I have no problems with having Curling as an Olympic event, but I have issues with televising it.

You have to love a sport where an Olympian can be any age... wasn't some lady on the British curling team in her 60's or something? It gives us all hope that we too could become an Olympian, maybe even after retiring from work.

I think there was a 15-16 year old in the snowboarding/half-pipe contest as well. I watched sporadically, but mostly to fine tune HD on my crap-tasicular Comcast cable box.

Never was a fan of the winter olympics. I read about it more than I watched. Mostly bad press about how the US sucks ass.

I think NBC just backed the wrong athletes. Michael Bodey got knocked out early and Michelle Kwan never made it on the ice. Once those stories were dead they had no where to go.

As far as Curling goes...I never watched the sport before this year Olympics. I was intrigues at first, but after watching it for a few hours it got under my skin. Especially once they brought some huge compass out to measure a point.

I watched a total of no more than ten minutes, and that was because a relative of nJ's requested some Olympics, when we were at her dad's house one Sunday. It was some men's ice hockey game, but I don't remember who.. I think Finland vs someone... I didn't care then, and don't care now.
