My Topic Today is Spam mail or Spoof Mail. Ever get those mails congratulations you won a lottery, or I want to be your business partner? Below is an e-mail I received and I thought it was the best one I ever got, I actually thought about it, somehow they got my name. Usually, it's like Dear friend:

Attn:Mr Jeff Silverman IT HAS COME TO MY NOTICE THAT YOU ARE YET TO BE PAID A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF MONEY BY THE FEDRAL MINISTRY OF FINANCE BEING THE CONTRACT YOU DID WITH THE GOVERNMENT. YOU ARE REQUIRED TO COMFIRM THIS MAIL BY STATING THAT YOU ARE STILL THE RIGHT PERSON TO BE PAID.ALSO MAKE SURE THAT YOUR DOCUMENTS ARE INTACT THIS IS SO BECAUSE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS ISSUED A NOTICE TO US TO PAY ALL CONTRACTORS WHO DID A CONTRACT WITH THEM BETWEEN 1999-2005 ALL THIER OUSTANDING MONEY BEFORE THE 16TH OF FEB 2006.RECOMFIRM AND GET BACK TO ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

I have precious little time on this planet, and spending it watching a flash video made by a 12 year old that’s so bad it makes me want to take out my eyeballs with a butter knife is NOT my idea of time well spent. I understand that you want to share your pain by inflicting it on the rest of us, but really this is getting ridiculous. Send another one and I’m going to have Mark arrest you.
I'm with "Gibby" I only lasted about 10 seconds with that... how some people find things amusing and others find it absolutely horribly painful is amazing. Reverse should change his name to imageekyF or mysenseofhumorblows.
The more I think I about it the more pissed I am that I wasted the 10 seconds it took me to plug in my headphones at work on that crap. Shoulda known better.

A Nigerian 419er was last Friday jailed for 376 years by a Lagos court for "stealing, forgery, impersonation and conspiracy to obtain money by false pretences" contrary to the Advance Fee Fraud Act, the Nigerian Daily Independent reports.
Harrison Odiawa, 38, aka Abu Belgori, managed to extract $1,939,710 from US national George Robert Blake on the promise of a percentage of a bogus $20.45m Ministry of Health contract. The classic advance fee scam saw a duped Blake transfer the "advance payments" after seeing forged documents - including a certificate of registration with the Corporate Affairs Ministry and the aforementioned forged Ministry contract - which convinced him he was indeed about to get rich. Blake raised the cash from his company, Quest Exploration and Development, and his own personal assets.
Thats great.. not that they caught the guy the fact that someone was so stupid as to fall for it. That dude must have been old. Or related to reverse. =)
